Sites and Suburbs in Gaza City
El-Sabra Neighborhood

    It is the one of the recent suburbs of Gaza, it lies to the West of the old city. There is not enough evidence about the naming of this part of the city.

It is said that because this area was full of cacti meaning saber in Arabic. The Sabra most important site in this neighborhood is the Municipal Park which was established in 1930’s.
