Gaza's economy depends on agriculture and light industries.
The major agricultural products are citrus, olives, dates, flowers, strawberries, and
other vegetables and food products, plastics, construction materials, furniture, textile,
garment and other traditional industries such as pottery, bamboo furniture, carpets, glass
coloring, sea fishing and embroidery.
