- The WWW in Palestine An Informational and Organizing Tool - An article by Birzeit University's webmaster appearing in the Winter 1999 edition of the Middle East Research and Information Project (external link will take you out of Birzeit's website)Added 21 January 2000.

- "Palestine's Websites in 1999" - A report on developments in the Palestinian WWW during 1999. Added 24 September 1999.
- "Open Distributed Library Services in Palestine" - a paper presented by Samer Qumsieh from the Birzeit University Computer Centre at the IT in Higher Education in Palestine Conference on 6 October, 1998. The paper examines the different kinds of technology necessary for building an open distributed library system in Palestine. Added 4 March 1999.

- What's New on the Web at BZU? 1 September 1996, Volume 1, Issue 1 - The Web version of our printed newsletter, the first issue to alert faculty to the existence of our website.
- What's New on the Web at BZU? 5 December 1996, Volume 1, Issue 2 - The second issue, with news of how hits rocketed during the end-September 1996 clashes and some early funding success. Includes an interesting commentary about the North-South information flow and inclusion in the 'global' information network.
