As time goes on, we will put some of our training materials on this part of the Website, to help those of you who are starting out in all of this and perhaps want to go the route we did, through HTML conversion software to HTML authoring software. Yes, it was quite a challenge to try to begin courses in Web Publishing, a medium we weren't particularly familliar with, teaching people who were only beginning to wake up to the wonders of e-mail, who have never even browsed the Web (at one point, by people who had never even browsed the Web!). For an idea of how this famine came to be, look at our page A brief history of information technology in Palestine and read a few general books on the Intifada and Palestinian history. The lack of development in this region of the world, brought about by successive military occupations, is sometimes daunting. But as you will see in the aforementioned article, there is hope.
Anyone who has compiled their own Web training material and wishes to share them with us, please do! We will be learning for many years to come.
