The Birzeit University Website has been the subject of several newspaper reports. In this section of Birzeit University and the World Wide Web, these articles will be reproduced.

• "The Web is Mightier than the Sword", Martin Jerrett, The Jerusalem Times, 21 June 1996. Not bad, although Martin needs to bone up a little on his Internet jargon.
• "SURFING THE NET: Get your kicks on the information superhighway", Allison Kaplan Sommer, The Jerusalem Post Magazine, 21 June 1996. We upset Allison's sensibilities a little I think.
• "Internet: A Good Place to Find Yourself - Palestinians start out strongly on the Internet", David Gordon, Ma'ariv, 14 August 1996. In Hebrew, a first on the Birzeit website! A good translation would be welcomed. Apparently, it's quite a complementary article.
• "New technology takes Intifada on to the Internet", Robert Fox, Daily Telegraph, 1 October 1996. A little sensationalist but the title made us laugh.
