There are two annually scheduled conferences:

1. A yearly simulated international conference, of the UN or one of its regional organizations or specialized agencies, or of a specific negotiation under UN auspices;

2. An international academic conference on an important and relevant subject, such as, in December 1999, the question of political transitions in the Arab world, seen from a theoretical, a historical and a contemporary perspective, culminating in current cases. Scholars and journalists from the Arab world, Europe and North America are participating in this and similar conferences.
