| Data Communications Data Communication Services are considered to be one of the most
necessary services for the commercial, governmental, educational and banking sectors. The
Value Added Services Department has established the first Data Communication Network based
on TDM technology in Palestine to provide data connectivity to all interested sectors.
This service was launched in June 1998 to serve a wide
sector of customers in Palestine. A Multi-Services Data Communication Network is planned
to be operated in the first quarter of 2001 to provide different services such as Frame
Relay, ATM, ADSL … etc.
