Responsibilities:
Direct responsibility of the different sections of
the department which include:
Sanitation Section
Head of the Section: Sa'eed Al-Dayeh
Responsibilities:
- To collect garbage from the different parts of the
city.
- To send the collected garbage by vehicles to the
specified locations and treat it there.
Preventive Health Section
Head of the Section: Kamal Al-Koleh
Responsibilities:
- To inspect food.
- To inspect drinking water.
- To fight insects and rats.
- To give health licenses to workshops and
industries.
- To inspect the complaints of awareness and health
counseling and deal with them.
Environmental Protection Section
Head of the Section: Muntaser Shehadeh, Engineer
Responsibilities:
- To administer and observe lifeguards work at the
beaches.
- To beautify and clean the beaches located within
the control of the municipality.
- To draw organizing plans for the beach facilities.
- To coordinate with the organization and committees
in the joint projects and work which raise the awareness of the environment.
