What is MCRC?
The MCRC is a multipurpose
community resource center, directed to address youth issues through providing youth with
adequate guidance&orientation information and training that fulfill immediate youth
needs aiming by that, at the final stage, to mobilize youth capacities towards activities
and to promote the sense of belonging in their societies through promoting their
initiatives, creativity and socio-economic integration.
MCRC will also
provide training courses that are appropriately selected accordingly to the identified
needs which is based on the MCRC vision and the feedback from the participation of the
targeted group in the definition of their own interests and needs.
Our Goals:
To mobilize youth's local
leadership capacities and energies towards activities geared to the development of
citizenship and spirit of responsibility.
To provide youth with the means
(information, training) for promoting self-sufficiency and a socio-cultural life.
To provide facilities for
general information, social and vocational orientation, sports and cultural activities in
order to promote the social and economic integration of youth.
To establish working links
between governmental institutions, NGOs, private business, in order to act as an official
counterpart for these institutions.
To provide general information
of training opportunities, on the local and international levels.
To develop social and business
oriented leadership skills among Palestinian Youth.
To provide information on Human
Rights and civic responsibilities in modern societies through roundtable discussions, with
special emphasis to gender issues.
To promote sports & cultural
activities for all categories of youth.
Vocational Training
Course:
- Pottery training.
- Leadership.
- Computer graphics design.
- Woman Health.
- Pictures frame making.
- Democracy and human rights.
- Photography and documentary production.
- Training of trainers for youth leader .
- Make up and cosmetics.
Workshops:
Dealing with gender issues, human rights and
citizenship, such as:
- Revival of civilization.
- Youth role in conserving heritage and activating
tourism.
- Enterprise management.
- Child nutrition and health.
- Women Rights.
- Library and its role in the community.
- Relative marriage in Palestinian Society.
- Violence against woman.
- Globalization.
