Destroyed Palestinian Villages
The story of the hundreds of Arab communities that vanished between 1947 and 1949 is the dark secret of Israel's War for Independence. Here are the stories of eleven Palestinian villages that were destroyed--their inhabitants expelled--in the conflict which led to Israel's founding.
