      The Advocacy Institute is dedicated to strengthening the capacity of social and economic justice advocates to and change public policy. They work with US community based leaders in towns and cities as well as non governmental organization (NGO) leaders from around the world to engage in advocacy

      CIVICUS is an international alliance dedicated to strengthening citizen action and civil society throughout the world.  This homepage provides information about CIVICUS, its activities and its partners throughout the world.  A great resource site to see the diversity of work that is being undertaken with respect to strengthening civil society throughout the world. 
       
      CIVITAS  
      CIVITAS, an international consortium for civic education, aims to strengthen effective education for informed and responsible citizenship in new and established democracies around the world. This site has information about their objectives, activities and links to related organizations.
