Dear Friends of PACE,
Dear Friends of the Palestinian people,

The Siege of Palestinian Civilians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip Worsens

Despite international condemnation, the Israeli Occupation army is still using excessive and indiscriminate force against Palestinian civilians. Six more Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army and Jewish settlers yesterday.

During the last two nights, the Israeli army launched missile attacks from helicopters, and heavy artillery from tanks against the civilian residents of Beit Jala, Rafah and Hebron. Two buildings in Beit Jala: the Orthodox Cultural Centre and a Marble factory were hit, and several injuries were reported. One more house was destroyed in Rafah. In Hebron, several houses were hit, and a family of four were seriously injured in the attack, the father died later in hospital.

The Israeli Occupying Forces have again isolated and surrounded all Palestinian cities and villages throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The siege has already devastated the Palestinians economy and deprived the Palestinian people of their right to move and live in freedom and dignity. We call upon all of you to raise your voices and to pressure the Government of Israel to abide by international law and international human rights principles and to stop the systematic killing of the Palestinian people, especially the innocent children.

Help us end occupation, and build peace in the middle east. Stop the massacre and let the Palestinian people live in peace.
