110 Get To Know Palestine: The People and The Land
A visit to a Palestinian town, village and refugee camp in a selected region in the West Bank or Gaza Strip.
- The visit will be accompanied by extensive commentary on and discussion of local history and traditions.

Participants will meet Palestinians and visit different cultural institutions in the localities visited.

Seven and ten Day Tour Packages
for the years 1999\2000
"The Holy Family Route"
- - First Day:
- Arrival at Tel Aviv - Ben Gurion Airport, and transfer to a hotel in Bethlehem (Nativity, Bethlehem hotel or Talita Qumi). Orientation by a PACE representative, dinner at hotel and a short walk in the city.
- - Second Day:
- Tour of the city of Bethlehem and vicinity. Highlights: The Nativity, Milk Grotto, The Palestinian Folklore Museum, Rachel's Tomb, Mar Saba, Solomon's Pools, Murad's Forterss, Herodion. Overnight in Bethlehem.
- - Third Day:
- Tour of Hebron. Highlights: Mamri, Makhpela, Oriental Market, Russian Orthodox Church (church of the Ock), Tell Rumaidah, The Traditional glass factories. Overnight in Bethlehem.
- - Fourth Day:
- Tour of Jerusalem. Highlights: The city walls and gates, Holy Sepulcher, Dome of the Rock, Mount of olives, Via du la Rosa etc.
Cultural evening in either Ramallah or in one of the villages. Overnight at a hotel in either East Jerusalem or Ramallah (15 km. north of Jerusalem).
- - Fifth Day:
- Tour of Ramallah and Jericho: Highlights: Church of the Holy Family in Al Bireh, Beit El, Taybeh, The Good Samaritan Inn, Wadi Qelt and the monastries of the Judian Desert, Kherbet Qumran, Dead Sea, Monastery of Temptation. Overnight in Jerusalem or Ramallah.
- - Sixth Day:
- Tour of Nablus and the North: Highlights: Jacob's Well, Roman Nablus, Gerzim Mountain and the Samaritans, Shechem, Sebastiah, Burqin Church, Al Zababdah. Over night in Ramallah or Jerusalem.
- - Seventh Day:
- Tour of Nazareth and Tiberias. Highlights: Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph, Mary's well. Cana, Mount Tabur, Sea of Galilee. Trnasfer to the Airport in the evening.
- - Three more days:
- The tour is also offerd as a ten day tour package including a day in the Gaza strip, one extra day in Jerusalem, an extra half a day in Jericho, and a free morning in one of the cities in Israel like Tel Aviv or Haifa, or a Palestinian city like Ramallah or Jerusalem.
NOTES:
- Cost of the seven-day program on half board basis: US$ 550 per person for a group of over 20 people, US$ 750 for the ten-day tour (untill October 1st. 1999).
- The price includes transfers to and from hotels, six guided tours, entrance fees, lodging in Palestinian 4-star hotels (B&B) on double occupancy basis (single supplement is US$ 25 per night) and cultural evening. Prices do not include airfare, dinners or tips.
- Flights can be made through Queen Alia Airport, Amman- Jordan, Gaza Airport, or the Rafah crossing.
