Phase I of the Data Clean Up Campaign is Completed PALTEL Announces the Ten Winners

To celebrate the completion of phase I of the Data Clean Up Campaign, PALTEL held a drawing ceremony on March 19, 2002 to announce the names of the winning participants.

The purpose of the campaign is to update and correct the customer database of the company. Revising and updating the customer database is a crucial step forward towards the implementation of the upcoming new customer care and billing system. In line with the company's focus on customer care, the system will be differentiated for its flexibility and multi-option marketing and pricing techniques.

Forms were inserted with the Nov/Dec 2001 bills requesting all subscribers to fill and correct their database. To encourage subscribers to fill and send the forms to PALTEL, ten winning prizes composed of ten trips for two to Dubai including airfare, accommodation, and $500 in cash were offered.

The ceremony was held at AlQasr Hotel in Nablus with the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications as well as a number of institutions, universities, banks, insurance companies, and PALTEL staff. As the draw was fully computerized, the ten winners were distributed among districts in the West Bank and Gaza. The winning names and numbers were:
