Dial 97o, . . . and Palestine hello

No need to go through the Israeli code 972 per accessing Palestine. With the activation of 970, Palestine can now link directly to the world without the need to go through any other gateway.

Most international telecom operators are contracting with Palestine Telecommunications Company, Paltel, per recognizing Palestine's independent new international telephone code 970, which has been regained through the International Telecommunications Union in 1998. To date, total operators linking to Palestine through the new code reached 94 with more activation operations under way.
