PalTel Establishes Media Center For Millennium Celebrations
Palestine Telecommunications Company (PALTEL) has established a media center at
the city of Bethlehem, offering fast communication services in all media including audio,
video and CD to work in coordination with coverage of the millennium celebrations
ongoing throughout the year.
Located in the yard of the Church of Nativity, the Center also provides services such as
facsimile, telephone services, copying, Internet access, calling cards, and mobile GSM
rental.
PalTel has installed six fully equipped booths with state-of-the-art telecommunication
technologies to serve all tourists and customers around the clock, enabling the media to
communicate and transfer direct information on events around the world. In addition,
more than 310 indoor and outdoor payphones are being distributed at convenient
locations throughout the Bethlehem area.
