PalTel Employees Participate in Various Local, Regional & International Training
Courses
- Four employees from the customer service Department attended a 5-day training
course, entitled "Customer Care" held at the Jordanian Telecommunications College on
7 August 1999.
- Seven engineers and technicians from both the Buildings and the Planning Departments
attended a 10 day training course, "AutoCAD - 14/ 3D", held at Nablus, on July 1999.
- Four employees attended a 14 day training course, entitled "Certified Cisco Network
Administration" held at Birzeit University. It prepares the participants for the CCNA -
Certified Cisco Network Associate, as well as operating Cisco Routers for advanced
computer networks and associated protocols.
- Three technicians & engineers from the electric section of the Operations &
Maintenance Department attended a one day training course on "Air Conditioner
Maintenance - EDPAC" held at Israel in order to get acquainted with EDPAC
conditioners' maintenance and installation procedures.
- Two section heads attended a 5-day conference entitled "The Eighth Conference on
Human Resources Management" in Britain, 18 August 1999.
- A 12-day training course was held at the Red Crescent in Khan Younis regarding
vocational safety on 17 July 1999.
- Ten employees attended a 4 day training course on "The Billing System" in Ramallah,
11 July 1999, designed to acquaint participants with the DCMS software billing system.
