PalTel offers a comprehensive telephone service using digital switches and fiber optic links. Telephone services are available to and from anywhere within Palestine. These services can be provided according to a customer request (demand).

*41 Service
This service is called "A Last Number Redial Service". It allows the customer (caller) to make a phone call automatically when the destination is busy.

	Lift the handset
	Dial the telephone number (If busy press *41 and hang up the phone)
	Wait - the phone will ring to let you know that the line dialed is now available
	To cancel using this service use *61

*42 Service
This service allows the customer to be connected automatically to the last number received or unanswered.

	Lift the handset
	Dial *42
	If the line is busy put down the handset
	The phone will ring when the line is available
	To cancel using this service use *62

Follow Me Service
When you are away from your telephone, you can program your telephone to re-route calls to another destination. This method ensures that you don't miss any calls.

	Lift the handset
	Press 72 followed by the number you want to transfer your calls to. When it answers, hang up the handset

Note: Delivering (transmitting) calls will continue normally.

Call Waiting Service
This service gives you the flexibility to be on the phone and be alerted with a call waiting tone that you are receiving another call. Flash button allows the customer to answer the second call, leaving the first one on hold.
It is also possible to alternate between both calls.

Wake up Call Service
This service that can be used to wake you up and
also to remind you that you have an important appointment. Just dial 175HHMM (H - Hour, M - Min).

Hot Line Service
This service allows a subscriber to reach a predetermined telephone simply by lifting the handset. The number will be automatically dialed after 10 seconds unless the subscriber dials another telephone number.

Caller ID Service Form
The Caller Identification service enables you to see the number of the person who is calling you. For this service, you'll need to have a telephone set with a built-in Caller ID display or a special display unit connected to the telephone.

Conference Call Service
Conference Call is a collective call service. It allows the subscriber to talk to two people simultaneously.

	Connect the first number.
	To connect the second number, press the flash button. Then dial the second number. When the person picks up that call press flash again. Now three people are connected together.

Abbreviated Dialing
This service shortens the numbers dialed to one digit or two digits by using the code 74 as follows:

	Dial 74
	Press a code 2, 3,......, 9 (one digit), then enter the number you want to save
	Put down the handset
	To dial the shortened number, hang up the handset & press the chosen code in step two.

For 30 numbers, the same procedures used above except using a two-digit code instead
of one digit.
