right now, we need to focus on tolerance like never before. Tolerance of each
other's beliefs, culture and way of life is the key to peace.
We need to somehow erase from the memory all of the visions
of death, destruction from the past and try as hard as it might sound from a
"clear slate".
The word "Revenge" must be eradicated.
This is killing us all!
Groups like Hamas and Al Aqsa
need to be dismantled, because there will never be peace in the region with this
kind of mentality.
Right wing Israeli groups need to
somehow show compassion towards the Palestinians and West Bank Jewish settlers
must go back to the real Israeli borders.
If all of the
above steps are achieved, there can be peace in Israel/Palestine. If not, I'm
sorry to say, but the world as you and I know it is doomed!

Comments:I am not anti Semitic,
but I am certainly anti Zionist. U.S. Americans are mostly very ignorant about

freedom fighters (suicide bombers etc.) proclaimed "give me liberty or give me

Americans forget that
in a desperate fight for freedom sometimes the options are limited. I am sure

Palestine would be more successful and the targets could be more military.
Certainly the much larger attacks on Palestine by the enemy are less honorable.
It is extremely shameful that the U.S.A. has been aiding the enemy - a
theocracy, against a freedom loving democratic and religiously tolerant people.
The only arms that should be confiscated are those going
into the rogue state of "Israel" - with the full knowledge of their murderous
fürher Ariel Sharon. This attempt at genocide to Palestinians by the Zionists
must be stooped and aid should be going to Palestine not "Israel"
The "settlers" (invaders) should
have gone to Uganda (from 1948) or stayed in their native countries in Europe
etc. or applied for legal immigration to Palestine. President Bush could end all
the troubles with a sincere apology, repayment for the atrocities, and the
statement "freedom for Palestine". Unfortunately, I am not free to help

Palestine. For decades we have listened to radio reports, or watched TV, showing

racial and religious tolerance. But then, I would say that, I'm a white, Anglo
Saxon, Male living a relatively easy life. That's the message we are fed each
day by our media. Please, whoever reads this, whoever has influence, whoever
cares, try to do something to stop the atrocities. Not only of Zionists against
Palestinians (from what I am now coming to understand, not all Palestinians are

Comments:I feel sorry for what
happened to the people of Palestine and I understand their despair. I do not
know what I will do if I were in their shoes. Doing the same thing, perhaps. The
issue facing Palestine people and Israelis is very complicated and is difficult
to resolve.
I think if the people of Palestine continue
to feel hopeless, the problem will remain. The only settlement of the problem is
that the state of Palestine should be built so that the Palestine people can
spend their time on the right things - to build and bring prosperity to their
own land.
I hope that there will be peace in that piece
of land - better sooner than later.

Palestinian people. My heart goes out the victims of Israeli terrorism. My
advice is to educate your people in western schools and universities (England
and the U.S.). Teach them how to debate and how to give speeches. The Jews in
the United States are very powerful. They have layers and layers of
organizations. They have all kinds of social organizations that help to coalesce
their people. Their biggest weapon by far is the fear non jews have to speak
critically of them. This fear gives them and their causes tremendous power. To
be labeled in this country as anti-semitic is the kiss of death for any cause or
political interest. You must fight this by pointing this unfairness out. Ask
interviewers why they are so biased. Ask them, "why are you so biased?"

Comments:My thoughts go out to
all the suffering - especially Palestinian children. If a news organisation like
the Guardian newspaper (UK) or BBC can report humanitarian issues such as the
lack of rescue efforts no thanks to Israeli neglect, or stories such as
deliberate efforts to refuse civilians medical access, there has to be obviously
something wrong.
I am glad that
the website administration puts the news headlines here. To convince others who
is right or wrong - I believe it is also important for Palestinians and those
supporting them to use the power of the media to get messages across - at least
to ensure that Palestinians get fair coverage. Too often we see coverage of what
has happened to Israel and not Palestine.
I would encourage those who are allied to or have access to
news organisations to demand objective reporting.
Only then can we get the truth of what is happening. The
role of the media is to assist people in understanding the situation, not paint
the picture in what monotones they like. As viewers and consumers, we have the
right to demand fair reporting.
Also, let's use the power of e-mail to ensure that Muslim
voices are heard across the world and level up the situation somewhat. People
need to hear the 'other' side of the coin.
