in a world that seems to be comming against islam and Palestinians and arabs in general, it feels so nice to see this site and all the supporters. so many anti-islamic things in the media and on internet now days, let's show good, Bismillah! My heart goes out to my family in Palestine, and all those,arab, christian, jew, whatever, who support us. God have mercy on the millions of people i hear blaspheme Islam.

You have so much to be proud of.
Your daily struggles make my small problems seem so unimportant. I admire you very much. Keep fighting, and working for your freedom. Gradually more people are waking up to what the Israelis are doing to you and your land. Unfortunately while the USA supports Israel because of its own interests in the Middle East I fear that there is little room for progress. But history has a way of surprising us, and I will pray for change.

I came from CHINA where many chinese student are living a peaceful Environment,but your children are living dark palace where many people are toutured and killed by the israeli.I cannot image your that hamas movement belief is so strong and confidence because you are facing so many pressure and difficulties including the strong israeli and authority'pressure.I understand your act deeply which is only way for struggle,and think it is not terrisom,It is just justice,It is hero act devote himself for people'free , the dependence of palestine and the people'dignity.I pround of you and think your movement is the bravest movement in the world,I believe that palestine peolple only own the movement they will not failure for ever and your goal will be achieved in the end.

I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to the people of Palestine and their great losses. I am a Christian-American. I am saddened and heartsick over the United States support of the Israelian occupation of Palestinian land. I have sent several messages to President Bush stating my position and requesting that the U.S. stop the funding of millions of dollars to the Israelian government. I am in support of helping the People of Palestine to overcome the hardships imposed on them by Israel and the U.S. Government's. As an American I am saddened by the fact that our Great country likes to say that it will extend a helping hand out to any country and yet we overlook Palestine and it's people. My firm belief is that the biggest terrorist of all is none other then: ARIEL SHARON! May peace and love find it's way to the People of Palestine.

The Palestinian cause is just, the Israelis have become brutes. If there's a group in California to join, I too would like to know of it... any websites? What can we do?

I sympathise with all arabs and muslims living in Isreal, although I am english and a Christian, I believe that Palestine should have their land back. The land does not belong to the Jews, after all they are a religion not a race, so because of the UN the Jews have taken someone elses land. This is not right. I do not condone the suicide bombers of Palestine either, I don't believe in killing one another, but both sides have to talk but I guess with the US backing the Jews this won't be the way? The only way maybe is to share the land equally? All the best for peace in your land, we in the UK are thinking of you

While many people in the world choose one side or the other, few people make that decision without making it a matter of religion.
Americans are heavily biased in this regard especially when our 'moral majority' (which is actually a minority) says we must back the 'chosen people' of Israel.
Why? Because Christ is coming. Gimme a break. But why do you think Israel gets 4 Billion US dollars a year in military aid?
But the Bush administration had better not think about committing US forces in this conflict as it's hinting at....see "Pentagon plan seeks countries' OK to attack Terrorist cells"

The military has an oath of enlistment, which states
1) "I will support and defend the constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic." and
2) I will obey the orders of the president..... As this reads, if the orders of the president (2) commits American forces to this conflict, a clear violation of the constitution (1), the he becomes a 'domestic' enemy. It rises a big Separation of Church and State Issue
I say look at the numbers.... Palestinians have killed 600 Israelis. The Israelis have killed nearly 1600 Palestinians. It doesn't look like they need our help that much, does it.
Terrorists? Look at the numbers.... 72.... seventy-two. In the current uprising (since Sept. 2000) seventy-two Palestinians were killed BEFORE the first suicide bombings. Who's the terrorist? Since then it's been tit for tat. But across the board, it's been the same proportions. Both sides are killing the innocent. Both sides are killing women and children.

As the mother of a daughter (Samarra) who is half Palestinian it saddens me that she has to hear all the negative press about one part of her geneology and never hear all the positives except from her father and I. As a human being it saddens me that in a supposedly forward thinking country we allow a people in a different country to be oppressed and violated on a daily person by colonists who beleive they are able to take land because they belong to a religion. The U.S. labels Palestinians terrorists yet we do not not dare label American Indian's forefathers terrorists and yes they killed civillian settlers women children etc.. They too fought against settlers on their land. Our leaders don't see the hypocrisy in supporting a people that take lands and moving the people that have lived there for generations into "refugee" camps just because somewhere in their religious history they might have once lived there and yet the native peoples of the U.S. aren't given their choice of their (historically proven) country back. We are not moving non Native American descendents to refugee camps on land the Native Americans delegate to us. Yet going by the reasons we support israel we should. I would also like to remind pro-Israelis that Adolf Hitler never called them concentration camps he called the "REFUGEE CAMPS". Maybe the jewish people learned some bad ideas from the Nazis because refugee camps and confiscating land
homes etc. sounds like gestapo tactics to me. Remember the ghettos, curfews etc.? I would also like to know where all the Jews were when Muslims in the former Soviet Union were going through a holocost of their own with the lovely title of ethnic cleansing. It is tragic that there was a Jewish holucost but you don't get to have your own country built on the lives of others because of it. If the jews wanted another country they should have bought some desert and built one from the ground up. What would happen if EVERY religion and sect thereof wanted their own country? WWWIII

Dear "Upset Jew" - didn't you know that Jewish Zionist terrorists in the 1940's bombed the King David Hotel, killing around 100 people? Terrorists always kill innocents.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced from their homes and livlihoods, at gunpoint and by force, and many were killed who resisted, because the Zionists believed that the land should belong to them.
They were wrong, and it was immoral.
Israel exists now, and the Arab nations have agreed to recognize it, which is good. All the peoples must learn to live together and treat each other fairly.
But Israel must admit its past injustice and try to make up for it. This is the only way forward... as long as they deny their own past brutality they will continue to behave like oppressors, because no one is more cruel than he with a guilty conscience, which he is trying to suppress or justify. The character of Israel is getting worse and worse as a result.
Think about 35 years of occupation - an entire generation raised without civil rights - that is totally injust and immoral. Thousands of Palestinians have been killed in the last few years by Israeli soldiers and settlers, including hundreds of children. Are you surprised that bombers try to punish Israelis after all this, including civilians?
The bombers are still wrong to kill civilians, and the US should step in. But it's difficult with the political situation here; our politicians are cowards. And most Americans and most American Jews, like the previous poster, don't know the facts and history! They try to claim the European press is anti-Semetic when they criticize Israel's worst abuses. They are in denial. Learn the history. Read Elias Chacour's book, "Blood Brothers."

What do you expect when you use a one ton bomb in the middle of a crowded city block. The Israeli army knew civilians would die and felt those lives were worth the end result. Is one terrorist worth 17 civilians? NO. Who are the terrorists anyhow? The Israeli state is equally to blame in the killing of innocent civilians. The Israeli people are filled with as much hate as the Palestinians and yet they are perceived as a democratic nation. What sort of democracy oppresses millions of Arabs giving them little in the way of humane treatment, civil rights and equal protection? Look at the record. Israel took its lands by force by terrorizing innocent Arabs. We should stop trying to pin labels on different groups of individuals. Terrorist, martyr, innocent civilians. What do they really mean anyhow? Who is really innocent in this struggle anyhow? The real answer is that both sides are not right or wrong, both sides have committed crimes and both sides deserve self-rule.

Here in the UK, we are extremely open minded and most people are disgusted with the happenings in Palestine. Our hearts go out to the brave Palestinians as evil people like Ariel Sharon continue to spin a web of lies around every event that takes place. I just hope the Palestinians never lose hope and that they remember, there are people in the world of their side.

I live in America and can say that the American people are tremendously ignorant of the history of the region. They don't realize that the Arabs were there first and that these Jews from Brooklyn or Russia have no right to the land.
