Inspection Department
Director: Maher Abul Gumbuz
Responsibilities:
- To inspect the work of the different sections,
units and departments of Gaza municipality.
- To define the reasons for faults and deficiencies
and the persons involved in them.
- To submit suggestions in coordination with the
departments, sections and units under inspection on reforming the faults and deficiencies
and preventing their future occurrence.
- To develop the systems where deficiencies or
deviation might occur in accordance with the municipality regulations.
- To provide reports on the inspection and its
results.
- To follow up the remedy of the deficiencies
revealed in the reports of the General Inspection Committee and the Ministry of Local
Governments.
- To inform the Mayor about the remedy of the
deficiencies stated in the report.
- To attend to the complaints and follow them up.
- To participate in the different committees of the
inspection members in accordance with the instructions of the Mayor.
- To carry out any duties requested by the Mayor.
- To work on decreasing negative struggle and
disagreement among the departments and sections.
- To work on developing procedural methods in the
different departments of the municipality in order to improve the services and their
efficiency.
