My granfather father Abraham Machi, was a cristhian palestian that whit his brother(Bacilius Yusef Machi) leave his sacred land of Jerusalem for coming to America, they work a year in Turkey and take a ship whit a few of palestinians that work there ( Faruk Zaied, The family Sabag, Abraham Dabdoub, and Yezu Basarte) and came to north Mexico(Sonora) and stablish here and formed his families, my Granfather father married a half mexican half lebanese and stay in touch whit his brothers in Jerusalem an Nazareht until the early seventeen when he died of cancer. He didnt learn arabian to any of his sons, he was a very devoted of the virgin Mary and Jesus. The lastname its Machi(its pronounced Masshee, not Maki as the italian Machi) Any information good and Saint Chárbel will bless for helping a family to find the way back to his path.
