End of July 1995 

The agreement of two years Radio Training Program was signed. Acoustics, technical and construction planning  was made in Finland.

Beginning of August 1995

The drawings and specifications were in Birzeit.

October 1995 

Construction works started in the basement of Science Building. Pre installation of the equipment in Finland.
 

November 1995

Installations in the studio started on 20th.  Five days later the training was launched. 

Since then

the centre had courses in: Creative Sound Editing, Radio Presentation, Digital Sound, Basic Maintenance and Radio Journalism including workshops in interviewing, live broadcast, drama, documentary and music.

July 1997

The agreement for one and a half years extension was signed and the project was moved under the School of Arts as a part of the Media Training Program.
