The Information Technology Nodes is a project sponsered by the European Union. It is starting to develop with in the view of preparing the Information society; its main aim is to :

1. Buildawareness of newly developed and emerging IT applications
2. Encouragethe adoption of good practice in technology
3. PromotesIT research that could directly benefit commerce and industry
4. Supportthe creation and maintenance of local IT skills
   
   IT Unit is now coordinating for the establishment of the IT Nodes in Palestine.
