Wi'am "Cordial Relationships"
Wi'am conducts trainings through workshops on various issues related to conflict. Individuals (women, businessmen, teachers, students, government officials, security forces) from the community participate in the workshops.
- Human Rights & Democracy:
At first, the different types of democracies that are in place around the world are studied. Secondly, time is spent dealing with democracy in Palestine. When addressing these issues, all elements of a society are open to discussion. Through the discussion, key points related to 'human rights' are highlighted at the core of a democracy.

- Conflict Resolution:
When dealing with conflict resolution, a great emphasis is applied to communication. Different techniques are studied:
- Self-communication (how does one communicate with oneself when relating to an issue),
- Other-communication (how does one communicate with others when relating to an issue).
In resolving conflicts, negotiations take place to bring about a just solution. Three different negotiation techniques are studied:
- Individual
- Group
- Community
Integrating the skills of sympathetic listening and communication into the negotiation process is discussed at length.
- Women's Issues:
Workshops on women's issues cover a wide variety of topics as Wi'am reaches out to women in the city and in the villages.
- Education about women's rights
- Gender issues - the differences associated between genders
- Teach women to resolve conflicts:
- working with families as a whole
- interacting with children
- developing communication skills
