The Wi'am Palestinian Conflict Resolution Center is deeply committed to its grass-roots vision for the transformation of society at the most basic and integrative level, that of human relationships. Support for Wi'am comes both from individuals and non-governmental organizations sharing a common interest in our efforts.

If you or your organization is interested in the work of Wi'am, please consider the many different ways of providing much-needed assistance:

• PRAYER SUPPORT

  At core, peacemaking in human relationships is a spiritual effort. We would greatly appreciate your active prayer support.

• PROFESSIONAL and INTER-CULTURAL SUPPORT

  Wi'am would like to learn from different approaches used by other individuals and organizations working in conflict resolution and community development. We welcome your ideas, suggestions and encouragement!

  Most people do not realize how the conflict resolution needs of Palestine are reflections of much larger international, political, cultural and economic issues-- everyone has a role in the peacemaking effort of Wi'am.   The meaning of the Wi'am logo

  

  The star represents the city and community of Bethlehem. It has been a symbol of this region from early in the Christian era, and is today on the official seal of the Bethlehem municipality. The hands clasped together represent the act and spirit of reconciliation-- instead of separate fists, the instruments of conflict.

  The rays of light represent both the genuine struggle in non-violent reconciliation, and the enlightenment that comes with learning peaceful methods of conflict resolution.
