Re: We lost a new Frame Relay @ Rafah
Dear All,

First of all, PITA Board, ISPs and many other individuals have been working around the clock for the past week to come up with a strategy. I send our draft strategy to Dr. Abdel Rahman and he replied back with three points that he would like to see in the Draft. These point were added with some modification to the strategy, In our board meeting this Saturday we will discuss this draft and after the approval it will be sent back to Dr. abdel Rahman and after Paltel  approval we will announce a public workshop with Paltel and all the ISPs to discuss the new strategy in public.  In my opinion we are making progress on an issue that has been lingering there for three years now.

My second point, having a public forum to exchange ideas without a draft strategy that we all agree to is non sense we have done that tens of time in Paltel HQ in Nabuls and in the Grand Park hotel in Ramallah, nothing happened, just talk, so we are not going to do it again unless we have a general understanding and basic agreement on these issues and we can work the minor details later.

Finally,  I hope by the next week we will have a mutually agreed upon strategy that will be beneficial to both of us. If you would like to address all the ISPs in Palestine just post to
isps@pita-palestine.org and to address the board of PITA post to pita@pita-palestine.org and we will post it for you. Take care and thanks for listening

Nael,

Explanation please.

MAAN,

THE BALL IS AND HAS BEEN IN YOUR COURT SINCE THE LAST TIME WE SPOKE AND
DISCUSSED THESE AND OTHER ISSUES.

I ALSO BELIEVE IT IS THE SAME COURT AS FAR AS PIS, POL ETC ETC...ARE
CONCERNED. WE WILL NOT DEAL WITH ONE ISP AT A TIME. YOU FOLKS DO NOT SEEM TO
BE ORGANIZED OR HAVE A UNIFIED VOICE TO REPRESENT YOU OR SPEAK ON YOUR
BEHALF.

WE REPEATEDLY REQUESTED A FORUM TO EXCHANGE VIEWS AND ARRIVE AT MUTUALLY
ACCEPTABLE AND BENEFICIAL WAYS AND/OR CONDITIONS FOR WORKING TOGETHER WITH
ALL ISP'S.

YOU FOLKS SUGGESTED PITA.

WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A REPLY. WE WILL CONTINUE TO WAIT. BUT PLEASE DO NOT
COMPLAIN IN THE MEANTIME.

Regards,

Abdel Rahman Omar
