Thousand of Palestinians went to the streets together, they were released for 6 hours on the 30 day of the imposed curfew. Today we were lucky, because at last we could get 6 hours to do whatever we want, or we thought we would be able to do whatever we want.

The Israeli occupation lifted the curfew from 8:00 am - 1:00pm, I used this opportunity to take the international volunteers to visit the refugee camps of Nablus city.

Firstly we went to see the house which was destroyed before yesterday, It belongs to the family of one of the wanted guys, but we were shocked when we saw that the Israeli occupation did not only destroy the house, but also destroyed FIVE houses of its neighbors, who don’t have any kind of relation with this wanted guy. They are not his relatives, nor his siblings.

72 refugees were living in these houses, they were given 5 minutes to leave. The Israeli soldiers invaded the refugee camp of Askar at 02:00 am, and told the neighbors and the family of the wanted guy: “move from here for a while.” One of the eyewitnesses told the soldiers: " I am selling Gaz, so, there are much gaz in the entrance of my home, let me remove them" but the soldiers said to him " TOVE" which means : "This is very good".

After few minutes, everything was destroyed by Israeli soldiers’ bombs. The innocent neighbors said: we were not part of the whole issue, we are just neighbors, so, nobody blame us if we revenge.

Before the Israeli bombing of these houses, there was suspected suicider, who is wanted, But now, there are 72 prospective suiciders, they are those who lost their houses.

Abu Muhammad said to me:
“I left Haifa in 1948 without carrying anything with me, I was 12 years old. I came to this refugee camp, I lived in a tent for few years, and restarted my life once again. I could build this house by working for more than 50 years. And now I see it all destroyed in front of my eyes. How I will like Israel? How I will accept what is not acceptable for anybody on the world? I could not even take my pictures album. I and all my family members left our house by force in our pyjamas. This reminds me exactly with 1948. And now I see that the 50 years of my life were lost once again, I am homeless once again. I am refugee to the refugee camp`s dwellers, who will host me for few days, but not forever. Who can host me and my married sons and their families? Why I have to be refugee?”

I could not find any answer to all his questions. I felt I am powerless. I also could believe that all kinds of Palestinians reactions are justified.

At last, and while we were watching some guys who were looking for some clothes under the destroyed houses, Abu Muhammad showed me the top of the far mountain, where I could see hundreds of Palestinian villagers who were climbing the mountain up and down, through hard roads, which are not suitable even for animals. They were using these roads because the main roads were destroyed by the Israeli bulldozers. What a trip in dust and heat!

We went to the city center to see thousands of people are running to buy their essential needs as fast as possible, and start their long way to their homes.

What an unbearable life! If this situation will remain for longer time, then Israel SHOULD encounter a big challenge. The challenge of facing 3 million prospective suiciders.
