The
Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP) has a long
history of presenting incisive analyses and compelling reporting
on the Middle East and US foreign policy objectives in the region.
Since 1971, MERIP publications (MERIP Reports and Middle
East Report) have provided a unique and valuable critique of
social, political and economic developments in the Middle East and
North Africa from a progressive viewpoint.
MERIP is now
embarking on a multi-faceted Media Outreach and Policy Analysis
Project. Press Information Notes (PINS) are an important aspect
of this endeavor. MERIP will be disseminating PINs periodically.
If you would like to subscribe to receive these PINS automatically
(at no charge), please send an e-mail to gkbishara@merip.org,
and include the words "SUBSCRIBE PIN" in the subject line
of your message. (When quoting PINS, please credit MERIP and
indicate title, date and author of the PIN.)
