1998 Palestine Dispossessed Conference - Ramallah
1998 Palestine Dispossessed Conference - Ramallah

Below is a draft conference agenda. Each day of the conference will have two major plenaries which will involve a panel presentation. In the Palestine Dispossessed section these panels will address different periods of the Israeli occupation. Following each panel, workshops will examine in more detail the human rights violations that occurred during that time.

The Palestine Today section (highlighted in white) will look at strategies to address these violations in both the region and internationally. A particular focus will be on organizing events leading up to the 50th Anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December, 1998.

On Friday night there will be a public meeting held in a refugee camp, and on Sunday, a choice of tours will be provided.

As speakers are confirmed, the agenda below will have links to the various workshops and plenaries with more detailed explanations.
