The university publishes two main newsletters, one in English and one in Arabic. The English newsletter is produced each semester, the Arabic every two months. Both cover many aspects of university life and news, while also providing insights into the wider Palestinian society the university serves.

Other information available includes the PAS programme prospectus detailing courses available for internationals, the Human Rights Record and of course, Brief Information the text of which has been used for this section of the Birzeit website. Copies of all are available from the Public Relations Office at the university address. Subscriptions to the English and Arabic Newsletters are available on request, donations to cover postage and printing costs are welcomed. Organisations interested in an exchange of publications are invited to contact us.

The website currently comprises of four main sections: Birzeit University Brief Information, Birzeit and the World Wide Web, Birzeit University Archives and The Palestine Archive. The Birzeit University Archives presently contain News, Photographic and Human Rights Archives, and the Press Release and Development Archives. The university, noting the lack of good quality Palestinian material available on the Internet, has established The Palestine Archive, a huge project to provide information on all aspects of Palestinian life, culture, politics, society and more. Funding to employ full time archivers and researchers is hoped to ensure the success of this project.
