Birzeit Archives An reference site of all things to do with Birzeit University, including newsletter, press release, photo and human rights archives. The archives will be under constant development and new archives will be added in the months to come. Watch out for the Research Centre, Women's Studies Centre and Law Centre Archives, all coming soon! Birzeit Newsletter Archive Birzeit Newsletters in English produced by the Public Relations Office. This archive, currently holding the last two editions of the newsletter, will be added to both retrospectively and as new editions are published, until the complete set is Web-available. Birzeit Press Release Archive Press releases in English from a variety of university departments. This archive will be added to as new releases emerge as well as retrospectively, until the complete set is Web-available. The archive currently holds the university's press releases from 1996. Birzeit Photographic Archive Images of Birzeit life and events around the university, taken by the Photographic Department of the Public Relations Office. These are very early days for the archive, but it will be added to both retrospectively and currently, to track major events and developments at the university and surrounding Palestinian community. Birzeit Human Rights Archive The Birzeit "Human Rights Record" and other reports produced by the Human Rights Action Project. Human Rights press releases and urgent action material can be found on the Birzeit Press Release Archive (see above). This archive will be added to retrospectively and currently until the complete set is Web-available. Friends of Birzeit University (UK) FoBZU (UK) is a registered British Charity that works to "support education at Birzeit". This archive will be added to both retrospectively and as new new information is published. |
