EDUCATIONAL FUND

Our children are our future. Recognizing this, in 1959 a scholarship program was established. Through this program a great number of needy and academically qualified students were educated. The Federation financial aid is given in the forms of:
Since 1961, the scholarship program has educated over 300 students. In 1996 alone, forty-nine scholarship students attended over forty U.S. universities. In addition, the Federation supported worthy secondary educational institutions both here and abroad, such as the American Quaker Friends School in Ramallah, which was established in 1889.

Scholarships are open to all Palestinian students living in the USA or abroad.   Applications must be submitted to the Federation office no later than May 31 of each year.  The applications will be reviewed by the Federation Scholarship Committee during the Federation's annual Convention in early July and selected students will be notified shortly after.  Students not selected have the choice to update their application and request it to be considered for the following year.
