The Sakakini exhibited recent works by Diaspora and local artists; among them: Ceramist Vera Tamari from Ramallah, from Nazareth Sharif Waked, from Japan Vladimir Tamari, from the US Kamal Boullata and Samia Halaby, and from Jordan Suha Shoman.

Sharif Waked was born in 1964 in Nazareth, he works mostly in collages. He is also a children’s book illustrator, and a stage & film set designer.

Suha Shoman was born in 1944 in Jerusalem. She is also the head of the Darat El Funun arts center in Amman.
