The booklet is 135 pages long and is meant for people concerned with the mediocre job the US media have done covering the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and who want to do something constructive about it. The booklet is a manual of sorts that spells out a strategy of action, provides a taxonomy and examples of media failings in coverage of the conflict, addresses the question, “why is the media failing?”, draws a contrast between the type of media criticism proposed here and the typical criticism lodged against the media from the other side, and suggests various concrete actions that the activist can engage in.

The booklet also offers suggestions on how to star, build, and maintain a media watch group, how to meet with editorial boards and foreign desk editors, and other useful information, such as how and and where to apply for syndication, contact information for places where to publish findings on the media, a landscape of the media as it relates to the Middle East conflict, and a comprehensive contact list for reaching all the main media outlets.
