Thread Index RE: Meeting with Ann Bacher US Embassy Tel Aviv
Dear Issa, We are in the middle of putting PITA action plan for this year and one prominent activity is certification and standardization. PITA will proposed workshops and programmes of firm level assistance. But business has to take consortium forming or forming other businesses alliances as a matter attracting international investments. However, and out of personal experience, there is an important pre-requisite for outsourcing services that American and European firms require, and this is mainly certification - for Systems and Software Engineering. Qualifying for certification requires hard work and may take a long time. I suggest that we start thinking along these lines to be effective in this endeavor. I have more information about this subject should anyone require it.
