The price was $357 we need to add extra costs for dead space ( passage) and other services like tables, chairs….
Etc. If we get sponsorships then I hope we will let it free for participants.
I have already two applicants. If any of the BoD is going I hope will do
like the others soon.

After discussion with Marwan, We propose to send to members the attached
form and map and the following mailing. Please approve to send it tomorrow
morning
Dear Members
I am please to inform you that we have a space at GITEX 2001 Dubai in the
prime site, Hall 8. To finalise the booking process members interested in
participating as exhibitors (sales are not allowed) please fill in the
form attached and return by next Saturday 19/5 (end of day 5:00) together
with %50 of space cost. To process your form also you need to have clear
all your out standing balance with PITA (membership fee ... etc). The
proposed costs per sqm is an estimation based on construction and other
common facilities costs such as chairs, tables...etc. Costs of travel,
posters promotional materials... etc will be sent to the applicants later
on. Any money collected from donation and sponsorships will be passed to
you to reduce your final cost bill. Members whom are interested in
participating as visitors can expect another mailing soon on participation
in GITEX as visitors.
