Immediately
after the opening of the Programme, the research team was established in
order to investigate and analyze the effects of violence, on individuals
and families. The purpose of this is also to aid our clinical staff in
determining the most effective methods of treatment.
We also hope that knowledge gained from our experience
in dealing with large-scale trauma, particularly among children, will be
of use to mental health workers elsewhere.
Our on-going projects are:
1- "Trauma, Parenting, and Bedwetting"
2- "The Longitudinal Study for the Long-term
Effects of Traumatic Events"
3- "Codification of MMPI2 Test"
4- "Schizophrenia and Social Support"
5- "A Study on Some Neurotic Symptoms of victims
of Violence in the Gaza Strip
