- Tuesday, 24 March, 3:00p.m.: Nominations close.
- Wednesday, 25 March, 11:00a.m.: Deadline to for nominees to withdraw from the election.
- Thursday, 26 March: Official announcement of nominees.
- Saturday, 28 March: Election campaign begins.
- Monday, 30 March, 4:00p.m.: Campaign concludes.
- Tuesday, 31 March, 2:00p.m.: Debates begin. Classes are cancelled.
- Wednesday, 1 April, 8:30-4:00p.m.: Polls open for voting.
- Wednesday, 1 April, 5:00p.m.: Ballot count.
- Wednesday, 1 April, 8:00p.m.: Unofficial results posted.
- Thursday, 2 April : Official election results are announced.
