Photography Department
The material produced by the photography department has a direct bearing on the quality of work achieved by other departments,
particularly those concerned with publications as well as the campaigning work undertaken by the Human Rights Action Project.
The department covers all major events in the university year, including the student council elections, international conferences, the annual graduation ceremony, openings of new departments and the launching of new projects, as well as lectures, visits, workshops, workcamps, tours, and other aspects of university life.
The department also covers events outside the university including, closures, demonstrations and other activities that affect the university community.
Work has begun to establish an Internet-based photo-documentation archive for use by journalists, human rights and research centres, and visitors, as well as university departments. For more information about how to support this project, contact Albert Aghazarian, Director of Public Relations.
