On Thursday, April 5, the New Coffee Shop across from El-Youssef
Plaza and the University garden and fountain was inaugurated. Approximately 50
faculty and staff members attended the event.
One of the staff members who will be operating the Coffee Shop
is a graduate of B.U.'s Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism. She is now
returning to join 62 graduates working in the University.
The Coffee Shop is likely to become quite an attraction on
campus, because of its beautiful location and because the University community
is enthusiastic about the idea. Bethlehem University has a total population of
2,250 students and staff on campus each day. Those seeking a quick meal or a
snack, in between classes, will certainly find the Coffee Shop interesting and
attractive.
