The overall philosophy of this program is to
provide the individual participants with the necessary expertise and
skills to operate as a professional in the tourism and tour guide
industry. The overall aim of the Tour Guide Program is the formation of
tour guides for pilgrims and tourist visitors to the Holy Land through
appropriate theoretical and practical vocational training activities.
This is a five semester program of study focusing
on local sites only. Other courses include archeology, history,
religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) tour guide methodology and
English for Tourism.
