This is the first time i have signed this guestbook. I just
wanted to give respect to my cousin, my brother Joseph Eadeh and
his parents and whoever else knew Joe. The times we grew up
together are unforgettable. From going to Downtown every weekend
in 7th and 8th grade with him and Jerry to going to Florida last
summer. The Almighty Lord took the best into God's Kingdom. I
pray for Joe that he rest in peace for eternal life. I also want
to pray for his parents and ofcourse His Brother and Sister. I
love them with all of my heart and Yes Eddie i will always be
your brother. Ill will always include Joe in my prayers and i
hope that to anyone who reads this prays for him too. God Bless
You all and Thank You.

I am Happy to say that the Ramallah Club of Jacksonville
has met with Gate Petrolium and the commercail will be taken off
the air ASAP. I don't know about the rest of you but I will never
step foot on a Gate Gas Station ever again. That should go for
all Arabs in Jacksonville and around the country. We can not sit
back and tolerate this kind of discrimination.

Gate Stations.....just say no. Paid for by the campaign for
kristy Nasser for president. This is just another example of the
friggin Kike controlled media. If that commerical made fun of
jews, there would be a national uproar by those big nosed, beenie
wearin, land stealin people. Southerners and Arabs get bad raps
in the media all the time, its time for all SOUTHERN arabs to
take a stand, and show the nation that we are educated, while
being a little bit country. 'preciate it.

Hello Kristy, good job in keeping Arabs informed of the
garbage being displayed by that gas station company. Please
display the company website (for Gatefood) so that all of us can
voice our anger and concern. Once we all know how to contact that
company, they will know how we feel and will think 100 times
before showing a commercial like that again. Keep up the great
work Kristy, Jehann, and DesertDiva. If all of us were activists,
we Arabs would be a lot better off....

To Kristy and everyone else who has seen the Gate oil
advertisement which is VERY degrading, disrespectful, and
completely false against arabs...Thanks to the RAMALLAH CLUB OF
JACKSONVILLE, that commericial will no longer be aired on
television as of next week. The authorities of the club here in
jax set up meetings with city council and with the main office of
Gate and we protested against it. We are fighting for respect
towards our culture, it's easy to say we won this protest. Thus,
such a degrading commericial will no longer be viewed or aired in
this lifetime!!! =) Stop sitting around! Get up and make a
statement... Thanks a lot and Long Live PALESTINE!! Miranda

To all fellow arabs... I have a suggestion for everyone and
I hope you consider it. I believe we need to boycott all Gate
food/gasoline stations around the U.S. in response to the
derogatory, stereotypical commercial that the company is running.
In this commercial, they are portraying arabs as "price
gouging", greedy individuals. They are mocking us for our
oil producing countries and the wealth they provide. The
commercial has three stereotypical arab men looking directly at
the camera laughing at their wealth. In one part of the
commercial, the arabs are throwing a party...and someone asks,
"What are the party favors going to be?" The response
is..."Each guest will receive a flawless 24 karat diamond
solitare." The commercial is completely degrading to arabs.
I know that the Arab Anti-Discrimination League has taken action,
but after seeing the commercial last night again on a national
station, nothing has been done yet. I hope to have your support
until the Arab Anti-Discrimination League has taken care of this
situation. Thanks!!! (Hope to see everyone at the convention :-)

Greeting everyone! It has been so long since I have seen or
spoken to many of you, and I really do miss you all. Just a
little comment to Mr. J S from Washington DC who spoke of the
passing of Hafiz Al Assad of Syria. I would just like to say that
when Al-Assad died, I was very heart broken. In this time of
serious negotiations between the Arab-World and Israel, it was a
very bad time to lose him. I can understand what you are saying,
in regards to Al-Assad, I am not saying whether I totally agree
or not, but what I am saying is that Hafiz Al-Assad was one of
our strongest leaders and he did stand his ground. It is also
very well know that the things that are happening in Syria after
his death, are not looking to promising for the countries
welfare. In brief, I don't think that it is totally right for you
to bash a dead man and not look at all of his goods and bads.
Hafiz Al-Assad will be missed regardless of your personal
opinions that you have broadcasted. I would like to close by
saying, Peace out to my girls and boys around the US and
especially Detroit. Peace to the Detroit Debke Troup, the Detroit
Ramallah Teen, and Youth and my family.

Marhaba to all Arabs in America and all over the world. I
just wanted to say that Jehann, Sophia, and the Desert Diva
proved exactly what I have been saying all along concerning our
situation in America (Israeli-occupied territory). On another
subject. This weekend, the president of Syria (Hafez el-Assad)
passed away. He was the leader of Syria for 30 years, however
many Arabs didn't agree with most of his policies, especially
those directed against Iraq. Assad, the corrupt "lion"
traitor of Damascus sided with Iran for eight years against Iraq
(a fellow Arab country). Assad went against the wishes of not
only Iraq, but all of the Gulf Arab countries including Saudi
Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain. Assad stabbed the Arabs in the back
even though Iraq and Jordan saved Syria from an Israeli disaster
in 1973. Instead of expressing thanks to Iraq for its help and
sacrifice in 1973, it decided to side against it and send weapons
to Iran. Assad will be remembered for these well-known traitorous
acts as president of Syria.....

OK, I haven't added to the guestbook in a while, unless I
felt that it's necessary. I'm backing up my cousin Sophia! What
she wrote was more then the TRUTH! How can mere 2% of the US,
even begin to think they can get majority in anything that goes
on in our government system? Sure they should have a
"say-in" and their opinion should be heard, but 48% of
the System is NOT theirs. And the whole "closet thing"
IT'S TIME!.. We need to just JUMP out & show the world the
kinda of intelligence & the kind of opportunities that
Palestinian community can bring to this nation. **love you
sophia** =)=) See You In FLORIDA! God Bless Guys! =)

SHE MADE ABOUT PALESTINE BEING IN THE CLOSET. WHERE IS THERE ROOM
FOR THE PALESTINIAN NAME WHEN 48% OF ADMINISTRATION IN THE U.S.
IS JEWISH?? YET THEY ONLY "WASTE" 2% OF THE POPULATION
IN AMERICA. WE HAVE SUCH AN IMPORTANT & INTELLIGENT CULTURE
WE MUST BE PROUD OF, NO MATTER WHAT OUT STATUS IS. MOVIE STAR OR

Hello Everybody... In response to Deena's inquiry: When I
talk about minority status, I am not speaking about preferential
treatment. I am talking about being ACKNOWLEDGED as a people.
Pick up any history book that is circulated in elementary schools
in America, and look at the definition of Palestine in these
books. Do you know what it reads? Here's an example from my
younger brother's book: "Palestine is formerly ancient
Israel, now the land of the Jews." No mention of Arabs, no
mention of the current turmoil. When was the last time you saw a
Palestinian "come out of the closet" in a high profile
job? Do you know any Palestinian movie stars? Any Palestinian
talk show hosts? Any Palestinian anchors? Any Palestinian
congressmen? If they are, they dare not speak out, because their
careers would be OVER!!!! That is the problem. We live in an
extention of Israel. We need to educate people about who we are
as a people. I can't tell you how many times people have said to
me....where is Palestine...does it exist? We are losing our
identity, slowly but surely. Unless, we all do something about it
and make people aware. Take advantage all of you at convention to
address these issues. Don't waste your time solely on the
sightseeing and dancing--that won't get us anywhere as a people.

Desert Diva, I am in no way trying to argue with your
points but I just have a few questions. In what ways are we not
getting equal opportunities in the United States? And I just also
wanted to know what others opinions are about having a
"minority status." Desert Diva you write as if you
believe we are entitled to some benefits that other minorities
are receiving. Technically yes we are entitled to them, but do
you really want them. I honestly want to hear opinions on this
without getting into a huge argument- we should be able to
discuss things like this without trying to put down others as
well as their opinions. I personally believe if we are living
here, we should be upheld by the same standards as everyone else,
receiving no extra benefits simply because of our roots. We
should, and as far as I see, we do have equal opportunities as
the next American, and we should have to work equally as hard as
the next to receive these or any other benefits. But that is just
my opinion and I am interested to hear what others think about
this.

Alright all you patriots! You are proud to be Americans?
Well, prove it! I want all of you patriots to vote in every
election, set up your own lobby to let Congress know we have
minority status and need our needs met, send money to the ADC and
other Arab committes to support the Palestinian cause. You're
proud to be American? Great! Did you know that Israel gets
$700,000 an hour from the United States? How much money goes out
of your paychecks for taxes? About 30% ? Well, congratulations!
That passive Americanism will only send that tax money right off
to Israel. You know how the presidential candidates woo when they
try to get elected to office? The Ramallah Federation? Think
again--it's all about AIPAC, or the American Israeli Political
Action Committee. If you're proud to be a Palestinian American,
PROVE IT!!!! Living the plush life here in America is not an
adequate reason to be patriotic. Africian, Asian, and Hispanic
Americans are all recognized as respected minorities in this
country. You see them in governmental offices, you see them in
film, you see them on television, you see their history books in
colleges. Where is Arab culture present in any of these realms?
Is America proud of you, the patriotic Arab? Do you really think
you get equal opportunity here? You're proud to be an
American--like I said, prove it in a way that makes a profound
difference in the American society. Peace out, Desert Diva

In 1966 a survey was done in America, it asked if you
thought this was the best country to live in, only 66% of of the
US thought it was. This survey was done once again in 1995, and
only 37% of the people in the US thought it was the best country
to live in. What if the rest of the 63% who do not like the US
took Mikes advice and left this country? This country would
collaspe in every way possiable. This info was found at

I really feel sorry for you Jim. They way the yankee/jewish
controlled media and those who write the history textbooks, have
warped your brain. Yes, some southerners were racist, and some
still are. But do not sit there and tell me that back in 1863,
that the northerners were not racist themselves. They had blacks
working for them etc. Yes they were "free" but were
they? Most of them dealt with the same discrimination and racism
that southern blacks dealt with. In the previous entry I was just
siting some of the similarities of the struggle the southern
farmer had to deal with, defending his land, his family, just
like palestininans had to deal with. The Israelis and the yankees

There is absolutely no similarity between the south
and the Palestinians. The southern were nothing more than a bunch
of racist, and thanks for the North that made this country what
it is today. If the North had failed, I will assure you I will
not be living in the US and will not have the pride I have today
in this country. It is a disgrace to this country and all
Palestinians to make this comparison. It is unfortunate that till
this day, this backward mentality still exists.

For those of you who subscribe to the "wisdom" of
JS, let me please reeducated you. Just because we live in the
south does not make us rednecks. And just because we are proud of
America, does not make us anti-arab. In fact the south and the
land of palestine have some similarities. Back in 1860-1863,
during the time of the war of northern aggression, the south was
defending its soil, defending its way of life, and defending
states rights against the Union armies from the north. The
southerns were hard working farmers most of them. They would
defend their land with all their might, most of them died trying.
Palestinians had a little war of thier own. They, like the
southerners, tryed to defend their way of life, their land, and
their lives. They too were mostly farmers, who did everything
they could to stop the advance of the evil israeli armies. The
Confederates states of America and Palestine have great
histories, and many similarities. Being a proud southern arab, I
am well versed in american history during this time. We make it
necessary to know the history of our state, of our country. So,
JS if being a southern arab is a wrong thing, well i dont wanna
be right! Long live the C.S.A and the nation of Palestine.
brothers forever.

This is good-bye... I have enjoyed some dialog between a
few people here. However, I do now recognize this is a guestbook
for members of the AFRP. I have accomplished what I set out to do
and I have learned quite a bit. I now see I am interested in
further dialog and will be taking my questions to other sites
that are open to discussion of Middle Eastern events. To the man
in VA who works on this site, thank-you for answering some of my
questions. For those of you who I have your e-mail you will still
hear from me. Take good care and God Bless, Remember we are God's
children not God's Adults! Adults with their wars, pride, blame,
greed...We have to overcome such negativity of greed, blame,
hate, war... these acts are acts of humans in infancy. We are not
following what God teaches. We need to follow in God's ways.
Following God's word and God's love for one another. All else
seems to fail. God does not designate specific boundaries of
countries. God's country is the Earth. As we are his children upon
the Earth we fight our sisters and brothers. For everyone we
hate, blame or kill we have killed a spark of God.Who should run
the Earth? Evil or God? We think we choose as we have created
some powerful technology to do some really stupid things! Someone
commented to me I should check the military history of a land. I
am interested in technology as it eliminates disease and promotes
potential and health not as it harms my brother or my sister.
Ultimately God chooses. We know this. I have learned some from
man but more from God. I am not interested in turning my back on
God. Thanks and Au Revoir, Ciao, "J.N." PS If we have
to choose a politician I would choose a musician.;-)

FOR "JS" One more time I understand that the
personal is political to you. But, to sway the masses, by your
comments "Long live Iraq' try to state the facts without
attitude and opinion towards the listener. I am the one you refer
to as funny. You are right. I love a good joke. In the Bahai
Faith. There is a good children's book by William Sears called
"God Loves Laughter". Can you think of anyone who
doesn't? Peace brotha, and relax your thoughts a little you sound
STRESSED! Maybe a good concert would be worth going to. We have
plenty of them in Maryland. Peace, Funny girl

JAN NORMAN's E-mail, I come by way of Europe. I live in
America. I am not Arab. I am an American. I do not call myself an
English-American. I have dearly loved friends who are Arab and we
discuss many issues in this world not just Arab-Israeli. My
friends contribute to the healing of the world's war torn
countries mainly through the children of those countries. Those
kids are not babbling on about 'issues' they just talk about
hopes, and fears, and wishes and dreams and they are very sweet
and simple in spite of being imprisoned in war all around them.
They say that babies and children are the closest to God. Blame
hasn't settled in and bickering a long way a way from what they
hope for... Anyway, to the folks in the south. I don't have a
public e-mail. You wonder why I don't type my e-mail.I wonder why
J.S. with his proud views doesn't print his name!I am not
inclined to distribute my e-mail as I am not interested in having
it publicly available for viruses or just for anyone to drop me a
note. Ever notice how reading too much e-mail wastes too much
time? If I want to e-mail someone I will. However, between
business, school, travel etc. I am not intereste in
having"pen-pals". SUSAN--I appreciate the author's and
reporters you have quoted this is how I can learn.Since I asked
for specifics. This site is on the internet. Therefore, available
for all. If it is meant to be private I suppose it would be
censored or arranged as a private site. JS----This is what I
asked of you to quote specific sources. I am an open-minded
person but I am not interested in changing my mind based on
someone's rage, impatience etc. I am interested in academia. In
terms of action I prefer volunteering. This is just who I am. You
can agree or disagree with that. My prescence on this site
doesn't lead to apathy in any of you thus far. My purpose is
served. You do not need to agree with me I am confident that
apathy lives elsewhere but not with me. This life is not enjoyed
by those who are so serious. RAWK ON!!!

This is an ARAB website, not a backward, primitive,
southern anti-Arab redneck site. Actually the truth is, If you do
not consider yourself as an ARAB FIRST, then you shouldn't be in
this website. The last few messages posted sound pretty bad and
make some of us Arabs look real stupid......

As the 42nd annual convention is coming in July, I propose a donation of $10 per person. Assuming an attendance of 2000, that would end in $20,000.-, which can be used to buy 20+ PC's. Donated by the group visiting Ramallah in August to a school or more in Ramallah, Taibeh, Birzeit, Jifna, or else, that would be an unforgettable gift and something to be proud of.
I know AFRP has been doing charitable work in this direction, and they are to be commended for that. My proposal is just an addition. Other forms of assistance could be:
All the best.

I TOO JUST WANT TO VOICE MY SUPPORT OF MIKE "THE
AMERICAN PATRIOT." ANYONE WHO IS NOT GRATEFUL OF THE UNITED
STATES NEEDS TO GO BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM. I AM FULL
BLOODED PALESTIAN AND DOG GONE PROUD OF IT. BUT I AM ALSO
AMERICAN. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY AND I LOVE
IT WITH ALL MY HEART. AS MUCH AS I LOVE MY FAMILY'S HOMELAND OF
RAMALLAH, AND HOW MUCH I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT IT ONE DAY, IM AM
POSITIVE THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUINITES OVER THERE
THAT I HAVE HAD HERE. GROWING UP IN THE SOUTH, I HAVE SEEN
RACISM, HATE, AND PREJUDICE TIME AND TIME AGAIN. THOUGH I HAVE
NEVER BEEN THE VICTIM OF A HATE CRIME, I KNOW MANY WHO HAVE. BUT
THE ONE THING THAT KEEPS THEM STRIVING ON DAY IN AND DAY OUT IS
THAT THIS COUNTRY HAS LIMITLESS OPPORTUNITIES. AND LIMITLESS
RIGHTS LIKE SAYING WHAT YOU WANT, AND WEARING WHAT YOU WANT, AND
DOING WHAT YOU WANT (LAWFULLY, OF COURSE.) SO, THE BOTTOM LINE IS
THAT I AM NOT SIGNALING OUT ANYBODY, BUT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO
NOT APPRECIATE WHAT THIS COUNTRY HAS TO OFFER...THEN TAKE OFF
YOUR NIKE SHOES, AND YOU TOMMY SHIRTS AND YOUR DALLAS COWBOY
JERSEYS. QUIT EATING YOUR HOTDOGS, PIZZA AND DRINKING YOUR MILLER
LITE. AND DO US ALL A FAVOR AND TAKE YOURSELVES HOME. THIS
COUNTRY HAS SURVIVED ON THOSE THAT ARE GRATEFUL FOR IT AND
WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR IT. AND WE WILL BE DAMNED IF THAT
CHANGES!!! THANK YOU

Nice job, Susan! Thanks for the figures and arguments you presented. May I add that this aid money was and is being used by Israel to build settlements in Palestine, to demolish Palestinian homes, to shoot and kill Palestinians, to threaten the whole Arab world, to conduct air raids on Palestinian camps in Southern Lebanon, ... . I won't be exaggerating if I say that there are some areas in Palestine which have been "put on hold" for the past 52 years and since the Israeli occupation of Palestine in 1948 --- That's how Israel used the aid money!!!
And, as JS noted, it is true that the US was the only member to vote against every UN resolution that was to bring the minimum of justice and fairness to Palestine and the people of Palestine.
Jan, you asked about the solutions --- The solution is simple and this is not whining. The facts are clear and known. It is for the whole world to wake up, stop turning their backs to the problem, and put an end to the double-standard policy... It is for the world to stop the provocation, arrogance, brutality and racism of the Israeli governments, leaders and military... The massacres of Deir Yasseen, Qana, and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, the killing of Palestinian youngsters and the beating of Palestinian women are just a few examples of the inhumane Israeli acts. It is for the world to stop the building of Israeli settlements and confiscation of Palestinian land... It is for the world to expedite the return of Palestinian land and the establishment of the Palestinian State... It is for the world to force Israel to respect and abide by international law and UN resolutions.
The Arab World has accepted the presence of Israel, not because this is fair, just or right, but because they got to realise there is nothing to do about it. It is now for Israel to put aside its fears and let the Arab World live in peace.

This message is to Jan Norman, the funny American lady who
involved herself in this ARAB website. I wouldn't debate or have
any kind of intellectual conversation with you or
"others" like you because it is like talking to a wall.
You are no different than the typical American on the street who
knows nothing about your own country, let alone the outside
world. You really lack the basic common sense and knowledge to
know the truth that Zionist Jews control this great country. Lets
just look at the logical facts my dear. Why is our country so
hostile and agressive towards the Arab World (who by the way are
composed of 23 states with nearly 300 million people)? Why are we
friends with one artificial state (Israel) and be against the
other 23 states? It doesn't make any logical sense to hate 23
states and support one against them. YOU know very well that all
foreign policy decisions in the last 10 American administrations
are decided by Israel. Here are some examples to re-educate you
on the Arab worlds realities: Which country gets the most US aid
without having to pay back a penny of it? Which country has the
highest number of UN resolutions voted against it? Which country
attacked and destroyed a US naval vessel (USS Liberty) as well as
2 Russian vessels in the Mediteranean without justification or
warning? Which country is the largest producer of pirated and
stolen US software in the entire world? Which country got free
high quality weapons from the US and then went around and sold
them (against US wishes by the way) to China, a sworn enemy of
America? Which country had a leader (Netanyahu) who once said
"Who cares who is in the White House, we will always have
the American congress when we need something"? Which country
bombed an Iraqi nuclear facility in 1981 without any hostilities
or regards for international law? Which country is holding a
Jewish American teenage fugitive (against US wishes) wanted for
the mutilation murder of a fellow American teenager in Maryland?
The answer to all of these questions is ISRAEL!!! So if you want
some reasons as to why the Jews are to blame, this should solve
that problem. America is a great country, but it is definitely
suffering from the Zionist Jewish cancer internally due to the
fact that the average American is so naive and gullible towards
them. These are the FACTS my dear...
