Dear Ramallites: Greetings from your old home town. We are
currently working on a broadcast quality documentary film on the
city of Ramallah that covers History, culture, tourism and
investments. The film will be broadcast on a variety of satellite
and TV stations around the world and we will be making video
copies. We are also thinking of presenting it in the upcoming
Ramallah convention in Houston if there is an interest. Any
feedback will be greatly appreciated. Also, we had just finished
the design and development of a multimedia CD ROM on Palestine
(Country Profile) that covers everything from History to culture,
tourism, industry, agriculture, etc. . The CD ROM includes Audio,
video, narration, music, still imgaes and texts. We need your
feedback and assistance in marketing the product. Please email us
at : ieways@p-ol.com. Thank you all and cheers. We need more
feedback from all of our friends out there

Dear friends, It is good to see some positive p.r. about
Palestine, especially Ramallah on the NET. I was formerly with
the Pontifical Mission for Palestine and was fortunate to be in
Ramallah on a number of occasions and to meet people from the
association here in the states. When I returned to this country,
I did fundraising for PMP and found that the greatest obstacle
was, as you might well expect, the almost total domination of
people's consciousness by the zionist slant of the media. It is
good to see Arab Americans doing something to start to reverse
that situation. I receive several human rights bulletins/week
from Palestine and am forwarding them to my address list to try
to help move things along. You presence on the WEB is fantastic.

I thought you may like the following poem which is part of
my book entitled Cycle of Frustration, a collection of Paletinian
poetry. I am donating one-half of the proceeds to Palestinian
charitable organizations. I Threw My Stone I dreamt I was
throwing a stone I heard it whiz through the air I saw it
striking the helicopter I ran towards it I wedged a pipe in its
tail I saw the soldiers shooting I watched the bullet hit the
child I carried the boy to a place of worship I heard the
soldiers coming I entered one door then another I came upon a
meeting room I saw the Star of David I boldly asked for help I
was shunned away I became more determined I felt my adrenaline
kick in I ran out to an exit and the sun I clutched the boy
tighter I saw familiar faces I looked around I witnessed their
happiness I shouted ãThis boy needs helpä I saw no reaction I
observed the abundance I destroyed the picnic table I arose from
my sleep I wrote down this poem I threw my stone Fadi Zanayed
from Cycle of Frustration, p. 30 If you liked this poem, then you
will like my collection of poems about Palestine that I have
published under the title, Cycle of Frustration. The book
contains 45 pages of Palestinian poems which deal with being a
Palestinian in exile. The list price is $15.95. However, if you
order by May 31, 1998, your cost will be $6.95 + 1.50 shipping
and handling, for a total cost of only $8.45. The poetry will
inspire you, make you cry, and make you think about everything
Palestinian. The book also contains beautiful Palestinian artwork
illustrations by Sammer Ghouleh. Order today, Send your check or
money order made payable to Fadi Zanayed 7905 S. Cicero - Suite
200 Chicago, IL 60652 for $8.45. Please allow 3 weeks for

Finally I found your website searching from Berlin through
Birzeit's homepage. You do a very good job, I found a lot of
useful information. Before I ask for help I will introduce
myself: I am a German scholar working on a project about
Palestinian identity and migration. I would like to get in
contact (preferably through e-mail) with Palestinians who were
born and brought up outside of Palestine. The dialogue with you
will be a basic part of my research. The second question is
related to a trip to Washington D.C. I plan in August this year.
How can I get in contact with the local chapter of AFRP? I really
hope you can help me with that. Feel free to email me for more
information on myself and my project. Thank you.

Periodically as I "surf the net" I make an effort
to read all the comments posted in the guestbook. I have seen
many names that I know and cities I've visited. This web page is
something special for all of us, not just Arab, but the world. It
is up to us to spread the word to all of our friends about this
great forum that we have. This web page allows us to communicate
our hopes and ideas to the entire world. This is probably the
greatest opportunity that we will have and I hope we all embrace
it with great passion. May God Bless us all.

with a search using the words "Arabs in Detroit" I've
put the schedule of the MSU Museum/Access EXHIBIT at the Detroit
Historical Museum March through October on my home page at

can get it indexed in Yahoo. Yes, the Ramallah Club has a very
good home page. Sincerely, Denis (nickname: Abdalla) Hoppe
