• Monday, 29th: 9 Palestinian Academics Detained by Palestinian Authority in Regards to Petition Distributed on 27 November 1999 . On the morning of 28 November 1999 and continuing through 29 November 1999, 9 Palestinian academics in Nablus and Ramallah were detained by the Palestinian Authority in regards to a petition signed by 20 individuals, including 9 Palestinian academics, 9 members of the Palestinian Legislative council, and two previously elected mayors of Nablus and Anabta. The petition was critical of the activities and the corruption of the Palestinian Authority after the Oslo Agreements.

• Thursday, 28th: Close Down Al-Khiam Military Prison and Release All Lebanese Detainees. Addameer Prisoners Support and Human Rights Association calls on all to participate in the International Campaign to Close Al-Khiam Military Prison. On Thursday 28 October 1999, individuals, groups, human rights institutions and activists from around the world will mark the beginning of the campaign which aims to pressure the Israeli Authorities and the South Lebanese Army (SLA) to close down Al-Khiam prison and to immediately release all Lebanese prisoners.
• Saturday, 16th: Announcement Concerning Released Arab and Palestinian Prisoners. The Release of 151 Arab and Palestinian Prisoners from Israeli Prisons following an agreement between the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli sides based on Sharm Esheikh memorandum. Addammeer comments on this agreement.

• Thursday, 4th: Renewal of the Administrative Detention Order of Ussama Barhum for the Twelfth Time. Today, Thursday, 4 March, the Israeli intelligence apparatus renewed the administrative detention order for Ussama Barhum.
• Monday, 1st: Beersabah Prison Administration places Palestinian Prisoners in solitary confinement. On 28 February, 1999 during a visit by Addameer organization to Beersabah prison, lawyer Sahar Francis reported that:

• Friday, 26th: The Trial and Execution of the Officer Abu-Mustafee The officer Abu-Mustafee was executed by firing squad Friday, February 25th morning at 2:00 am.
• Thursday, 25th: The Israeli High Court Examines an Appeal Against Torture Addameer institution (for the protection of prisoners) approached the Israeli High Court of Justice with an appeal against the defense minister and the apparatus of the general intelligence, "Shabak".
