The Jerusalem Jazz Festival 1999 March 18 - 24/1999 For this festival, our goal was to host six consecutive nights of Jazz during March 18-23, 1999. The main events took place in Jerusalem at the YMCA (300 capacity) in East Jerusalem. We also held additional concerts by the performing artists in Ramallah and Bethlehem where a large audience attended. Alongside the concerts, the artist held daytime workshops, in collaboration with The National Conservatory of Music, with local Palestinian musicians that introduced them to the big and beautiful world of Jazz.
