Throughout the West Bank and Gaza, a national day of mourning was observed for Palestinians killed yesterday. Mass funeral processions took place this afternoon in Ramallah, Nablus, Salfit, Jenin, Hebron and Tulkarem. Clashes continue into the evening in areas of the West Bank and Gaza, with 250 reported injuries, 19 in critical condition, and 4 Palestinians killed.
Omar Ismail Omar Al Ibheiseh, 15 years old, from Deir Al Balah, was shot and killed this afternoon by live ammunition to the heart.
Fayez Mahmoud Al Qaimari, 32 years old, from Hebron, was shot and killed by live ammunition to his head.
Majed Ibrahim Hawamdeh, 15 years old, from Al Tireh, Ramallah, was shot and killed by live ammunition to his head.
Tareq Al Hantouleh, 18 years old, from Silt Al Thaher, Jenin, was shot and killed by live ammunition to the head by Israeli settlers from Homish Settlement.
Gaza
Clashes erupted this morning in Khan Younis, Rafah and Deir Al Balah, near the Israeli settlement of Kfar Darom. At least 80 Palestinians were reported injured, 56 of which are from live ammunition, 8 reportedly in critical condition. Omar Ismail Omar Al Ibheiseh, 15 years old, from Deir Al Balah, was shot and killed by live ammunition to the heart. Mohammad Fawzi Al Najjar, 13 years old, from Khan Younis, is reported to be in extremely critical condition as a result of live ammunition to his head. Rami Attalah, 13 years olds from Deir Al Balah, is in extremely critical condition as a result of live ammunition to the chest. Youssef Sami Barakat, a child from Jabalya Refugee Camp, is in extremely critical condition as a result of live ammunition to the head. Ahmad Masharfeh, a child from Gaza, is in extremely critical condition as a result of live ammunition to his head.
Eyewitnesses report that the Israeli military were using guns with silencers to shoot at protesters.
A Red Crescent ambulance attempting to transport Mohammad Nasser Abu Zaid, in need of immediate medical attention in Jordan, is being prevented by the Israeli Authorities from traveling across the Karama Crossing on the Jordanian-Israeli border. Israeli Authorities are attempting to arrest Mohammad from the ambulance. Medics are attempting to intervene.
Nablus
Confrontations erupted this afternoon following the funerals of Amjad Ahmad Akram Abu Issa, Firas Khalil Mustafa Zaid, Issa Abdullah 'Ishteweh, and Adnan Mohammad Khairi Ass'ad, killed yesterday. At least 7 Palestinians were reported injured from today's clashes.
Ramallah
A mass funeral procession took place this afternoon in Ramallah for 18 year old Tha'er Ali Da'oud M'alla, from Am'ari Refugee Camp, who was shot in the head with live ammunition yesterday. Clashes erupted shortly afterwards at the northern entrance of Ramallah/Al Bireh. At least 60 Palestinians were reported injured one in critical condition. Majed Ibrahim Hawamdeh, 15 years old from Al Tireh, Ramallah, was shot and killed by live ammunition to his head. Three journalists were injured as a result of live ammunition from the Israeli military (see below--Attacks on Journalists).
Hebron
Violent confrontations erupted this morning throughout areas in Hebron. Fayez Mahmoud Al Qaimari, 32 years old, from Hebron, was shot and killed this afternoon by live ammunition to his head. At least 25 Palestinians have been injured today in Hebron, with 4 in critical condition. The Israeli controlled areas of Hebron remain under curfew for the 22nd consecutive day.
Qalqilya
Clashes erupted early this afternoon in Qalqilya, with 7 injuries reported thus far.
Tulkarem
A mass funeral procession took place this afternoon for 16 year old Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Tahoun, who was killed yesterday as a result of live ammunition to his chest and neck. Clashes erupted shortly afterwards, with a brief exchange of fire reported later in the afternoon. At least 5 Palestinians were injured.
Jerusalem
Clashes erupted this afternoon throughout various areas in Jerusalem, including Shufat and Kalandia refugee camps. Residents of Shufat refugee camp reported that the Israeli military sealed off a number of roads within the camp, and arrested a number of youth. No further information is available at this point.
Bethlehem area
Violent confrontations erupted this afternoon in the Bethlehem area, following Israeli attacks on villages within the area last night. At least 1 Palestinian was reported injured.
Jenin area
A mass funeral procession took place this afternoon in Jenin for Nidal Hammoudeh Abu Shakrah, 20 years old, from Jenin, who was shot and killed by live ammunition to the heart yesterday. Clashes erupted following the funeral, with 60 Palestinians injured, 6 reportedly in critical condition. In a continuation of Israeli settler attacks, Israeli settlers cut off electricity to the village of Silt Al Thaher this evening and attacked residents of the village. Tareq Al Hantouleh, 18 years old, from Silt Al Thaher, Jenin, was shot and killed by live ammunition to the head by Israeli settlers from Homish Settlement. At least 5 other residents have been reported injured. Attacks continue at the time of writing.
Violent confrontations are currently taking place in the village of Harres as Israeli settlers and soldiers bulldoze hundreds of dunums of olive orchards in the area. No further information is available.
Attacks on journalists
A number of attacks on journalists have been reported today. A group of five journalists standing very far from the site of clashes this afternoon on the northern entrance of Ramallah were shot at by the Israeli military with live ammunition. No clashes were happening at the time of the attack on the journalists. Three of the journalists were injured by live ammunition including: French journalist Jacobs Mariah from Paris Match, who was shot in the chest by live ammunition and is currently undergoing surgery at Ramallah hospital; Ibrahim Al Hussary, a journalist for Wattan TV, who was shot in the ear with live ammunition; and Jamal Arouri, a photographer for AFP was shot in the hand by live ammunition. Yesterday, Abdul Rahman al Khattib, a photographer for Al Ayyam Newspaper, was shot in the mouth by live ammunition in Khan Younis.
