1st Palestinian women’s Organization founded, in Acre wave of Zionist immigration.

1905

7th Zionist congress rejects the East Africa scheme (Uganda as alternative to Palestine)

1908

Najib Nassar founds Al-Carmel;’Young Turks’ Revolt begins.

1909

Tel Aviv founded as first all-Jewish city.

1911

Al-Isa brothers found Filastin newspaper in Jaffa; Al-Fatat secret society founded to work towards Arab independence from Ottoman rule.

1913

1st Arab Nationalist Congress in Paris calls for provincial Arab autonomy from Ottomans.

1914
