PMWATCH - March 21, 2002 -- Below are two photos, side by side, showing a literal example of
the long-standing practice by the US media of dehumanizing Palestinian suffering.


The image on the left is the original shot taken by an AP photographer on Feb. 22, 2002.  The
image on the right is how the photo ended up on CNN's web site.  


The "building" that is being demolished "in retaliation" by the IDF, as CNN described what 
is taking place in the photo, is in fact the home of the woman shown in the photo on the left.
