CANADA AND PALESTINE WORK TOWARDS ENHANCING BILATERAL COMMERCIAL TIES

A Canadian government delegation headed by a member of the Canadian representative office in Palestine, met Palestinian officials to explore possibilities of enhancing commercial and cooperation ties between Palestine and Canada.

According to a member of the Canadian team - their aim is to complete the works on an agreement signed between Maher El Masri, Palestinian Minister of Economy and Trade and his Canadian counterpart in February 1999, and added that Canada is committed to support the development of the Palestinian economy.

The Canadian team will provide Canadian businessmen and investors with information on investment opportunities in Palestine, the Palestinian investment law and the law governing the works of Palestinian industrial areas.
